The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
